Two symptoms I've been experiencing?

My periods are lighter than usual (have been for the past year since I was 28 till now that I'm 30) and i got two yeast infections recently. So the lighter period I heard is caused by decreased levels of estrogen whereas the yeast infection is increased levels of estrogen. It isnt possible to have BOTH? So this makes no sense. What could be causing either symptom? Thanks
