I don't think it's weird, but I imagine it could be inconvenient because that commute is longer than it seems it would be. There could be several good reasons for it - it's generally cheaper to live in the Bronx than in Brooklyn, they might have family they are trying to stay near, they might prefer the neighborhood where they live, the job might not be permanent and therefore not worth moving for, etc. ...Show more

Yes, that's very weird, and having to pay the bridge toll on top of the rent when they could just relocate and save so much money....Show more
