Do you think I should take my ex girlfriend back if she wants to try things again?
I'm 41 and she's 24.
We met when she was 20 and I was 37. We started dating immediately and I flew her 1st class to Cali for her 21st birthday, wined her, dined her and took her to the palace of fine arts and the santa monica pier. She had the best time. While in Cali we looked at apartments back home and found one and I paid the deposit. We moved in 2 weeks after we got back from the Cali trip. I then flew her to NYC and took her to Aspen in the first couple of months living together. I paid $1200 of the $1600 dollar rent for our luxury apartment with a balcony, pool and jacuzzi. She only paid $400 and contributed to food. Her parents bought her car outright, she's under their health insurance too. All she had to pay was $400 rent, $45 for her phone bill, money to fill her gas tank, money for her dogs food and for her own weed. Her parents still bought her clothes and things she wanted.
We lasted 6 months in the apartment. Then she broke up with me and moved back with her parents. She didn't like paying $400 when she worked at a coffee shop she felt it was unfair since I make 45-50k a year and she's a barista. She broke up with me many times for drama and used it as a threat to get what she wanted. She was shocked when I accepted it and moved on. She then used her public social media accounts to post passive aggressive quotes and sayings about heartbreak and me being the love of her life. Things like "if you let someone go and they come back it was meant to be".
That lead us to become friends again then start hooking up again. Then she'd start the drama again. She was now posting quotes online about narcissistic abuse and people using her for her looks.
6 months after we broke up she was in a new relationship with the love of her life. A month later she was pregnant and planning a baby shower. Then she had an abortion. A month later they broke up. Now she's single again and she was complaining to me about her new ex saying she misses me.
