Why does Yahoo Answers always act 10 years too late?

First they shut down comments in 2020 when they should have done this in 2010. Then they shut down the whole site in 2021 when they should have done this in 2011

Unfortunately because of trolling in some categories such as society and culture or politics and government the questions and answers became ridiculous.  But for other sections like travel or pets Yahoo answers was pretty good.  They should have just gotten rid of the problem categories.
