What is the best way to fix a scratched Palm screen?

    If you have purchased an extended warranty from the retailer, get the entire PDA replaced.

    Another option is to call the manufacturer to get it repaired. Usually there is a nominal cost for replacing the screen.

    (Don't forget to backup your data on your PC and preferably also on a backup memory card. Delete any private information.)

    Once you have a new screen, consider purchasing a screen protecter. These are transparent plastic films that you place on you screen.

    If the screen is plastic, and it won't hurt to put some pressure on it, you can use a soft eraser. They work well for scratches on watch faces. Of course, if scratch is too deep -- forget it.

    a scratch is indented, you could no longer 'eliminate' it.its like a shrink that would not heal, rubbing it wont make it from now on ideal - i recommend going and getting a sparkling plastic demonstrate screen on your telephone to guard it from scratches :)
