Do you have information on remedies for high levels of anxiety in a teenager?

I would like to get information on what is available to treat irrational anxiety and panic attacks in a teenage son. I do not want anything that is addictive or is needed for the long term. I want to find something, preferably natural, that can be used, short to medium term, to lower levels of anxiety sufficent to allow confidence to grow through experiencing the things that are currently avoided. Hopefully, once the confidence is there the need for the supplement will disappear.

    Hot water with lemon calmes the nerves and brain, actually.

    Medication is not the answer!!! I had anxiety, and panic attacks when I was younger and medicine made me not really feel at all. Be comfortable in who you are and what you are doing. I found that being around the people I cared about most and having someone to vent to relaxed me alot. If being a waitress is causing the anxiety just remember the customers are there for the food and not to pass judgement. People are going to be the way that they are that does not have to bring you down. Every morning when you get up tell yourself the good things that you see. Hope this helps and good luck.

    I have read some litterature about panic attacks. But they allways seem to have a more scientific approach and that is nothing I need in my struggle to survive those horrible panic attacks. This is a "hand on" and very practical book. I felt it was written to me. I am sure that you are going to feel the same.

    Joe Barry writes exactly how I think. The examples are perfectly described. And the method is genius. I recommend this book and thanks Joe Barry for writing it. It changes your life
