does the size of a mans shifter really matter?

I wish I could say no, it doesn't. But actually it does. Now, don't take that to mean that it has to be huge, because that's really not fun either, as it can be very uncomfortable and sometimes hurt. But if it's too small, it just doesn't get the job done (and by that I mean REALLY small) Not too small, but not too big. And knowing what you're doing does really make a difference also, and in most cases can make up for any size problems, no matter if it's too small or too big.

yes and no. a rock hard 6 is superior to a sorta-hard 10 anyday but then that may depend on just where you are intending to install said shifter.

No it really doesn't! If you know what you are doing with it size doesn't matter. It's not the size of the boat hunny but the motion of the ocean.

Usually I hear about girl's complaining about being too big (cuz' it hurts obviously if you're gonna rip them in two) I don't think I've ever heard a complaint of them being too small though
