Get yellow "error on page" at the bottom in Explorer in Yahoo email. Buttons don't work, can't email.
This oinly happens on a PC with Explorer, not on a Mac with Firefox. Is there some Explorer setting I am unaware of that will enable me to use my Yahoo email to send & forward messages? Right now none of the buttons work.

I had the same problem. Go to Internet Options in tools, delete your cookies and delete files. Mine has worked fine ever since.

It's not a virus. I go through this a couple of times a year with Yahoo. I've even tried loading Netscape but had the same issues. If it were a virus, it would affect only one computer. I tried to access my accounts from different computers with the same result.
I emailed Yahoo help (which wasn't a help at all) and was told it was my settings . . . I don't think so. Again, if it were isolated to one computer, I could swallow this a little easier. Also, it was isolated to one of my Yahoo accounts and not the other.
Miraculously, after I emailed Yahoo, my account began working again within a day or two. That's the only suggestion I have.

I contacted Yahoo! Inc. With the same problem it is because javascript isn't enabled properly in IE. If you want you can uninstall IE and Reinstall or download firefox 1.5 for windows and you should be good to go. You shouldn't have to reinstall your whole operating system again that is just a lot of unnecessary work.

I had the same problem a couple of days ago, this problem is related to javascript, and it wasn't just yahoo that didn't work for me...it was any site that used javascript (and most sites do)I looked everywhere for a fix, but it didn't help..the only thing that might help is this:(if your lucky) or reinstalling internet explorer.
go to the start menu..then click run and type: command
type the following hitting enter after each line:
regsvr32 Shdocvw.dll
regsvr32 Shell32.dll
regsvr32 Oleaut32.dll
regsvr32 Actxprxy.dll
regsvr32 Mshtml.dll
regsvr32 Urlmon.dll
if your lucky..(and if your javascript problem wasn't that big), your problem should be fixed....I had to reinstall windows xp >.<
