Is it worth it to pay to see Biltmore Estate in Asheville if you only have half a day to see it?
The admission price is currently $40 per person, and we can only spend two or three hours there on our current schedule.
We will be visiting on a weekday.

No because of the crowds. There's a lot to see on the estate and, while you can probably make it through the tour ok, the rest of the estate is facinating with the restaurant redesigned from the horse stables, the grounds themselves are gorgeous and they have several more things to see on the estate, including a winery and botanical gardens. It's well worth the $40 but I'd plan on a few more hours than what you have.

The Biltmore Estate is fabulous! I liked it even more than I thought I would. However, if you only have a couple of hours, I wouldn't go this time. I would wait until you have a least a full day to explore. It's so much more than the home, there are gardens, a winery, restaurants and beautiful walks to take on the property. You will definitely want to spend some time there.
