Are computers powered by smoke?
A bunch of smoke leaked out of my home computer and soon afterwards, it stopped working. I figure it needs to smoke to function properly. Where can I get replacement smoke to fix it? And how to I put it back in?

Yea. This happened to me before.
You blew a hole in your hard drive. You gotta take the hard drive out, locate what looks like a hole (You can pour soapy water on it like you do on a tire and then see where it bubbles, or where the remaining smoke is leaking out, to find the hole.). Use rubber cement to seal up the hole, first of all, and then reinstall the hard drive.
Also, check the fan to see if it has enough lubricant, because the problem might simply be overheating. If you see no lubricant, make sure you spray the inside of your comp with WD 40.
Make sure that there are no Cds or floppys in your computer. And make sure that everything is unplugged, including the keyboard, mouse, and speakers; all external hardware. In fact, you may want to go to your power box and shut down the electricity to that entire segment of your house.
Now, try wrapping a bag around the exhaust of your car to get smoke inside it. Make sure you tie the bag well with electrical tape, and then hook up a USB cable to the tiniest hole where the smoke might be able to leak out.
When you connect the cable, the smoke will slowly filter back into the hard drive. Leave your comp like this for about 2 hours, and then try turning it on again. You should get a message that sayd, "Smoke refilled. Thank You!"
Click "OKAY, " and you should be good to go.
If you have any other questions, call Geek Squad, but this SHOULD work.

OK DR this is easy, the hamster that lives inside that big case thing and is able to draw real fast has died, you need to talk to the lynux druid, he will give you a hs64 part 3 to fill in, fill in only the left hand side and loose the paper for three years down the back of the sofa.
YOU MUST light a small chicken each five day for the full effect to lessen and the smoke to be available for HSF. the smoke people. you will have to suck a small bee and talk like a loon for three days untill all is fixed.
Then and only then should you remove the computer and give it to someone on the street who looks about six, they can then fix it for you and you must tell them to keep it.
mind you I have to ask how long did the letter to yahoo take and how long befor the replys reach you?

Ermmm...come again?
The only way smoke can come out of ur pc is if a fan/processor = fried.
Its probably ur power supply. But since it seem s u have no idea about the parts in a PC, call a pro to change it . if its the power, get 80-160 euros ready (or dollars etc)

You must send the machine to Microsoft. They have the mirrors needed to replace the smoke.

Go to Planet Nintendo 64 and tell the owner of the green shop that you need HX-48.

What? My guess is your computer overheated. Not good you now should take it to a computer repair shop see what they can salvage and get them to build a new computer. or buy a whole new computer.

dude, you're thinkin' steam. lol. And most people don't use steam engines anymore; they use gas and/or electricity. And btw, I don't think computers have ever used steam. lol
