Who picks up the poop from a seeing eye dog?

I mean obviously the owner can't see it! So do they have a bag attached or what? I'm just wondering...

I was just thinking about a blind person groping around for the pile....not a pretty picture!

Guide dogs are taught to poop at a specific time and place. They 'do' it on command. So, normally the owner has control over where and when.

I have owned 2 guide dog rejects, and they had to be told to "Park". Otherwise they would hold it until they were in pain.

I saw a girl the other day on a university campus with her seeing eye dog, and the dog pooped and it was left there. No bag, no scooper- nothing. Really, I don't know how she could have taken care of it.

I guess maintenance workers had to pick it up. I would not have liked being a poor unsuspecting student who found the pile before maintenance. Yuck.

No one as if he is smart enough to be able to walk a blindman he would be smart enough to go before his journey out...hehehehe
