What's up with Madonna and the Kabbal?

Madonna has been following the Kaballah since 1992. If you look back at her videos and even her 1993 concert tour, you'll see the red string she wears around her wrist.

She addressed this issue on many interviews including Dateline NBC in 2003, Oprah in 2004 and most recently on CBS News last December. It was also featured in her latest documentary "I'm Going To Tell You A Secret" which was aired on MTV in October and sees an official dvd release on June 20.

Considering that Madonna was following Kaballah years before it become "trendy" and other celebrities started following the belief system, I wouldn't think she's just hopping onto a trend or seeking publicity. Most of the publicity she's received about it has been negative, hardly something she'd chase after!

She's just caught the latest trend. She doesn't believe it really, she just likes it because that's what is hot right now.

She's a show biz moron and it's a religion/cult that panders too her ego.

Not many religions/cults allow you to buy your way to heaven!
