Help with my oily hair!?

What is the best shampoo for oily hair? 3 hours after I wash my hair it looks like I haven't showered in a month!

I've had this problem for a long time. But this last year I've finally been making some headway. I like to use a moiusture shampoo (ie Biolage Ultra-Hydtrating). I shampoo once every day or every two days. I still take a shower every day, but sometimes I just wash my hair with water. if your ends are a little dry, but conditioner only on the ends. Trying to dry out your hair isn't the answer. Your ends will turn into straw and your scalp with still be just as oily. Also try a pH blancing shampoo. I really like the Biolage line, but don't use Head and Shoulders, I did and it just made my hair worse.

i also used to have very oily hair and it was definitely a problem for me. first of all dont use a conditioner anymore (if u are using one). and use a shampoo which has citrus in it like citre shine. then after showering, dry your hair using either an electric fan or a blower and shampoo twice everytime u take a bath

A lot of shampoos for oily hair are expensive, here are some other options:

You can use a lemon based shampoo or apply lemon to the hair before using shampoo. You can also use whites of eggs to apply it to the scalp.

You can always put some baby powder on a comb and comb it through your hair if it is really bad a school or work or whatever. I works for several hours. And try a different shampoo.

actually, shampooing your hair too much makes it produce more oils. i suggest gradully getting to shampooing hair once evey two days. if u dye ur hair, it will make it dryer without it producing more oil.
