Why does CBS have to ruin Formula One?
How do you think Formula One will ever become popular in the US if CBS tape delays the Monaco GP and airs it during the Indy 500? That is the most moronic thing I have ever heard. SpeedTV is more than whilling to air the race live, but CBS just has to outbid for the rights of a hand full of races and then tape delays them. There ought to be a law that says that if any network is whilling to air an event live, then their rights supercede those of another network which is tape delaying. What really irks me is that I was hoping to watch both races. Someone should get fired for this.
Sorry, this is more of a rant than a question. But none the less, feel free to agree or disagree.

If you've got a problem with it, take it up with the man they buy the coverage off..... if you can get a group of other F1 fans who agree with you and write to Mr Eccleston as well, then so much the better (providing it's written politely enough, rather than mindless ranting).
The contact address I've found is
Formula One Management Ltd.
6 Princes Gate
London SW7
Great Britain

If you want to rant effectively, rant to the advertisers.
No advertisers and CBS (or any network) will have to rethink its strategy.
One rant won't do much if you get together with others that feel the same way an e-mail campaign to one or more or the advertisers might have an effect.

I agree with you about CBS ruining the races they show.
One problem with complaining to the advertizers is that much of the commercials during the race are for CBS shows including the race that is going on itself. How dumb is that?

Its the same here in the UK, ITV television play 5 or 6 advert breaks in every grand prix.
Can you watch live F1 on the internet?
