Can anyone tell me about the catering on the Eurostar train between London and Paris?

I am a travel agrent with clients traveling in 1st and 2nd classes.

First Class includes a meal at the seat. Are there meal choices, and if so how many?

Second Class travelers go the the Cafe cars. I would love to know what food is offered and what kind of prices my clients should expect to pay for a basic lunch; a sandwich and a drink.

Went on First Class the other week. Food was a choice of three meals, plus a vegetarian option if you specified it on your ticket. Drinks and so on were included.

Cafe cars are simply a buffet; crisps, sandwiches and the like, and will probably be £5-£10 including a drink.

Its some time since I went on Eurostar and maybe things have changed, but the so called cafe bar on 2nd class is a self serve counter which had a glossy menu which belied the fact that all the offerings are precooked and sealed in cellophane then microwaved warm. Disgusting uneatable and overpriced.

Better carry on your sandwiches from Pret a Manger or other place at Waterloo.
