watching TV or music listening?why?

I like to watch tv i watch style network mtv and many other channels. I love to listen to music though. Music has always been around were tv was just another invention.

i usually do both..i watch tv and listen to music at the same time...at night i rather listen to music because there is not much on tv

Music. I love it. Right now I'm listening to Fuel. I loved when Chris Dougherty on American Idol sang their song. I love all kinds of music. Country and Rock the most.

Why would / do people do that? I think that it comes to people need to hear/ see other to subconsciously re-assure themselves that they are not along. If you cut out all back round sound you would start to go insane. Sensory deprivation has caused people to go insane.
