Do you have any Gnosticism book recommendations?

Other than ancient Gnostic texts, do you have any book recommendations for someone looking to learn more about Gnosticism?

Look for Books by Elaine Pagels. Particularly the following two:

The Gnostic Gospels: A Startling Account of the Meaning of Jesus and the Origin of Christianity Based on Gnostic Gospels and Other Secret Texts

Beyond Belief : The Secret Gospel of Thomas

They are very well written, easy to understand, and very good starting points for the study of Gnosticism in my opinion. She will also reference other books in her book that are good reads as well.

Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles Laurell K Hamilton's Anita Blake Series Charlaine Harris's Southern Vampire sequence Mary Janice Davidson's Undead Series Janrae Frank's Dark Brothers of the Light sequence J. R. Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood sequence Nancy Gideon's Midnight Series Keri Arthur's Riley Jensen Series These are my favourite authors I wait impatiently for the following guide in every sequence to come back out rather then the vampire chronicles and that's handiest due to the fact that she is done with the sequence and does not write that variety of guide anymore. I might additionally recommend you learn Anne Rice's Witching Hour sequence it's extra approximately witches than vampires nevertheless it does have probably the most equal characters because the Vampire Chronicles. Any books through the authors above I have not begun not to like so while ya conclude up the vampire novels and are watching for whatever a bit special however nonetheless at the fable facet check out a few of their different novels.
