Why do you get a violation for answering a question honestly?

Human's are ego driven. They ask questions (sometimes), not to get the truthful answer, but to get attention. They want responces that tailor themselves to an image that they already have of themself. Answering otherwise conflicts with their personal beliefs.

And don't get me wrong. But this world is FILLED with people who have problems when others conflict with their personal beliefs.

Some people just live blind... who need to OPEN THEIR EYES.

I feel ya. Some girl asked if she was fat....again. And I was brutal as well but I have seen "Am I fat" questions TOOOOOOO OFTEN. Sometimes it makes me wish Yahoo Answers was a building so I could burn it down just because of the "Am I fat" questions. So I said "sure y not? Lose weigh fatty" and I got reported. Dont ask if you dont wanna hear the answer.

yes i agree with you people ask questions and don't like the answer there are to many prudes in the way and yahoo is one of them.

You ask it you should expect to get answers even if you don't like them

there is a rules poicy about answering and if you do not abide by the rules you will be violated
