The French racists?!?! Maybe some of you dumb Brazilian fans don't know that during the 1920-1930s France was the only safe place for couples which where different in race (IE: black and white).If they where in lets say America or England they would have been burned or stoned to death!!

Ya sure, call the French racists. Do you know how many slaves were sent to south america? about 3 to 5 million. thats about 10 times as much were sent to the south US. Brazil was built on slavery, and considering the shape of their shiity country, they did a bad job of building.

If this is true, then they are the biggest hypocrites cuz Henry and Viera are like the best black players and Ribery and Zidane are both Muslim. All four of them are actually part of the top 10 best players left in the tournament as well. So they are very good regardless of race. But, since they are from those denominations, and French people are actually racists, then the French are hypocrites.

There is no country and no ethnic group that does not have racists among them. Currently, hoards of people are moving into other countries where things have been run well and the people are prosperous from countries that are rife with mismanagement, corruption, lawlessness, disease, violence, and because of that great poverty. This is a situation that causes resentment and alarm and social unrest. Always has caused it. So some of what you term racism is not, and some of it is racism that the above situation has fanned the flames of.

Just to say I'm Brazilian and I don't believe the French are known to be racist. Infact I found France to be very tolerant of other ethnicities and such. And yes, I totally agree with PALADIN...I can't stand people who clearly don't know their history.

they are racist? there are also rallies like this in germany, america, and many other countries around the world. are they right? no, but they still happen everywhere. And not all french are racist. to say so makes you in a sence, racist. the vast majority are not, and to them, this ethnically diverse team is a group of national heroes, so why not cheer. they love their team and their sport, and they love to win. any other country cheers for their team when they win.

All they did was throw bananas on the field because they thought the players needed a snack. The pros don't get orange slices and HI-C at halftime ya know...
