    First those are not sects.

    Catholicism is broken down into

Patriarchal Churches which practice a certain Rite or form of ritual.

So you have the Roman Catholic Church which Practices the Latin Rite, the Melkite Catholic Church which practices the Greek Byzantine Rite, etc.

    See this figure

Catholicism is also broken down into Religious Orders which are affiliated based on their charters. There are more than I can list here but some would be

    The Poor Clares

    The Society Of Jesus (Jesuits)

    Benedictines

    Franciscans

    Carmalites

Catholicism also has its Personal Prelatures which function according to their charters. Opus Dei would be one of these.

There also exists Priestly Fraternities such as

    Priest for Life

There also exists Lay Organizations such as

    Knights of Columbus

Catholicism is very wide and varied but all hold the same beliefs and Faith.

What you just listed as "sects," are not sects but orders.

Technically speaking, there is no such thing as a Catholic sect, as Catholicism in both the oldest & largest denomination of Christianity.

However, there are certain ethnic groups of Catholics. There is the Roman Catholic Church, & then there are Eastern Rite Catholic Churches, such as the Ukrainian Catholic Church.

The more nearly two philosophies are the same, the more violently they will assert their differences. Look at Shia v. Sunni in Iraq or Catholic v. Protestant in Northern Ireland.
