Do you believe in destiny?..Are things just really gonna happen whichever path you take?

I believe that things happen for a reason and that God sends people into our lives and gives us the oppoptunities to do what is best for us, but we also have choices and we can choose to do right or wrong and we can take our opportunities or let them pass us by. We can love someone that God has given us or we can screw it all up by not letting him guide us in the right direction.

Nope. One creates his own "destiny" according to choices s/he makes.

I don't believe anything is "pre-determined."

Destiny is simply where one ends up however one got there.
