The song itself does not have any lyrics...there are quite a few artists who have put words to it...

Yikes! It's a Canon- an instrumental work in 4 parts - three repeating the same theme at the octave, with a continuously repeating accompaniment and bass line...ok?
There are no lyrics to it, save something some person may have added years later.
Ordinary People may have used it, I don't recall. But I do know the film used the Vivaldi Concerto for Lute in D- played on guitar instead of lute- and the slow movement became quite famous because of that movie. It also has no lyrics.

Lyrics in Canon in D from Pachelbel??? I have never heard that... Unless the lyrics being added later... let me check in the Internet...

im sorry, i did. i sang it a few years ago for my sixth grade concert. i have to admit that we did amazing. i can play it on the piano, but sorry i dont know the lyrics anymore. you could search it on google. sry
