I need a word for king, queen & ruler that has a poetic sound to it...greek, irish...something unusual?

    You can use the slavic; Korol = king Koroleva = Queen and Kereevnik is leader or ruler! Hope this helps, Sweety!

    If you are looking for one word to be used interchangeably among all three, you may want to use "regal" or "royal."

    If you are looking for one word EACH (even possibly as names), I personally recommend the following:

    "Rex" or "Regal" for the king;

    "Royale" for the queen; and

    "Magnate" or "Potentate" for the other ruler.
