about NYU and subjects?
I know that I have a few years to decide where i'm going to study but I've been thinking of NYU, but my question is... can you do two subjects at the same time like medicine and theatre arts? I'm not concious of how the university works but any recommendations are welcomed and any other universities (doesn't matter the country) that are included in the same place and university would be seriously taken into account. I appreciate your help. Thank you.

I attended NYU in the 60's,,,for 6 years.
I lived in the East Village.
I had multiple majors, Art, Journalism, Theater, Psychology, gained degrees in all, and went on to Theology, and a Doctorate.
I suspect it depends on your commitment, time allowed, how well you can afford it.
NYU has been underrated often, but in my estimation it was the best of times, at the best time, for me. Beyond that I got to live in NYC for 6 years. A truly enlightening experience.
What you major, or minor in, or even take as electives, is less important to them, than it must be to you. I suspect the balance of Hard Core studies such as medicine, along with Theater, will be a good thing, and a form of release often.

Well, biology and theatre arts are run by two different schools at NYU. Biology would be run by the College of Arts and Sciences while Theatre would be run by the Tisch School of the Arts. According to Tisch's website, you would need to get the second major approved by the department chair. Once approved ,you can pursue the double major. I'm 99% sure you need to be admitted to Tisch to do this. I.e. you cannot be admitted to the college of arts and sciences and decide to major in theatre arts. You can go the other way, though (from Tisch to CAS). This is probably because Tisch is much more competitive (as it has different admissions requirements) than CAS.
