Soooooo, I've been gone for quite some time now...........?
I hate searching for things but can someone simply explain whats up with this new rating questions? Do you get points and so on, also is it a good new feature or a bad one?

This new system just started yesterday. We no longer earn any points for rating best answers and no longer get points when someone gives our best answer a thumbs up. I don't like it. I'm on level 6 and used to be able to earn 100 points a day rating best answers. Now I get nothing....so I've stopped rating.
They have changed things so that you can also give the thumbs up or down to each answer. This is supposed to somehow make things better. I'm not quite sure how as I don't go back and check on my answers. And it is still open to abuse, because if you are mad at someone you can give their question or answer a thumbs down even if it was actually good.

It's a bad feature because you get no points for rating.

If you haven't checked out the Abuse List, you can get cuffed for all kinds of stuff not.

I just go around giving thumbs up to everone unless it is totally stupid or lame! It's alright, I guess!
