Is it essential to play in srilanka ?
If there is a war in a country, why other countries send their players for game ? Let we stop playing with the countries they are involved in war and making problems to the public.

No body stopped coming to India or Pakistan when they were at war. No body will stop coming to India because of the Mumbai blast. Paki's didn't stop going to South Africa because they were Mobbed. We still play in Aussie though they called our players with racism remarks.... Teams still travel to Zimbabwe
This is the game, you respect the other country and the right to play - South Africa was scared of loosing to Sri Lanka and India - that's why they left. If they were scared, you would see the players in their Hotel rooms clinging on to the bed sheets - they were seen all over Colombo and even in Brothels near where the bomb went off even after it happened.
Source(s): Energy M - You are talking nonsense - no Tamil Child was killed by the Sri Lankan army - I can send you photographs if you want to of Sri Lankan army carrying old Tamil women of Jaffna and getting them across rivers. We don't hate Tamils - It is the LTTE who kills Tamil Children who refuse to join their Army. (I have photographs) The Sri Lankan Air Force bobmed a training camp - unfortunately, the LTTE had their child soldiers in this camp and they are making a big issue about 61 children (innocent I know - what do they know - they are mislead by the LTTE) whilst the LTTE has killed more than 10,000 tamil children including infants. - Anonymous1 decade ago

Sports can bring people together, but on humanitarian grounds it is better to avoid playing during disturbed times.

why so..........?
game should be played...............
as the inviting country knows much better 'bout their country's situation.............
if still players feel any risk to their lives they must voluntarily opt out..
