Had a stye on right eye about 2 months ago but a small bump on the top eyelid remains. How can I get rid of it
The stye appeared on the top eyelid of my right eye. Was gone fairly quick, in about a week, but the bump remains. Dr said it'd be gone by itself in two months but not only it hasn't, it's even more noticeable. No stye anymore, just the bump.
Any solutions to get rid of it? Help much appreciated.

typical.....what you have is called chalazion, it is a sterile inflammation persisting after the stye.....your doctor was partly right, 50 % disappear spontaneously, this is assisted by warm compresses, if it doesnt, it has to be incised, a very simple office procedure under a local anaesthetic. 2 months is a bit early, I would leave it for another 3 months. If u r still keen on getting rid of it, get it incised. Hope this helps.

I have had the same thing for years. Once I got the stye that was it. The stye went away and the little bump never did. Every once in a while it will exfoliate but otherwise causes not issues. I don't know how big of a bump you are left with, mine is really pretty small, almost unnoticeable, except to me. As long as it does not cause you discomfort, I would leave it alone for a while and see if it reduces in size. If it does continue to cause you trouble, then I would follow up with a dermatologist. Hope that helps.

Treatment and management
Most styes will drain on their own though this may be accelerated with a hot or warm compress. Styes typically resolve within 1 week with treatment. [2]
Medical professionals will sometimes puncture a particularly persistent or irritating stye with a needle, to accelerate its draining. Their spread or expansion can also be fought with the use of antibiotic ointment akin to Neosporin (e.g. Erythromycin Ophthalmic Ointment), a special version being available for styes, which can be applied in a ribbon along the lid, on either inside or out.
One folk remedy calls for the rubbing of a gold ring on the stye[3].

it's a stye try putting a little coconut oil on it three times a day P.S. Inner eyelid? Oh, I'm sorry. Skip the coconut oil then. You should go to a doctor for inner eyelid problems.

Try squeezing it. Theres probably a little pus left. A stye is really a pimple. Other
