Why do people need to go out of their way to point out that they're potheads on the Internet?

Perhaps thumbing their nose at authority. What I don't understand is them posting pics of themselves smoking bongs and other compromising acts.

They have nothing else they feel proud of. There might be other things in their life that would make you or me feel good, but THEY don't feel it.

They are tuning out and looking for an anaesthetic, and they either hope for approval in this, or are daring anyone to disapprove.

Nothing to brag about.. well except Yow I'm stoned yaw... Great now we know. Brain damaged.

Because they think it makes them cool .As far as I am concerned it makes them stupid ; why else would you let the world & the police know that they smoke dope

They feel like rebels by annoucing illegal drug use.
