Why does my Messenger preferance always say Canada even thou I have changed it to USA dozens of time????

Check also if you changed your account settings in Yahoo! for instance in mail to your US zipcode. Or check if your computer settings for region are still on Canada. Either one should do the trick!

Try contacting your IM provider and ask them to change it. I have had to do the with the year of my birth.

Who knows...just get used to it
