Call Toshiba support 800 631 381. They will help identify the problem over the phone and give you a recommendation on how to get it fixed.

well like the other guy said, u need more details. But if it happens to be a crt, its probably the tube. If the screen never turns on(you would usually hear a click) then the tube is most likely dead. Mine died about a month ago. The repair guy said it would cost more to fix it than to buy a new tv. The blinking light you are seeing is telling some error code that most techs can figure out. So I suggest you take it to a service person who knows what they are doing. The reason the picture isn't on is because the T.V. is in protect mode so nothing else gets burned up or broken.
