Sign in problem with yahoo only, mail, messenger not works?
My friend at Dallas, having a dell laptop. He got a problem with sign in recently. Everything worked fine before. He is able to sign in MSN and other services. But while trying to sign in yahoo, it says you can not sign in from AT & T service, check your setup: proxies. He is having DSL modem and subscribed to Verizon.
Do you have any ideas to set right this problem.
Dont bluff, He is able to access from other laptop (same room, phone and ISP). The problem is yahoo server denies his laptopl

at yahoo messenger, Messenger tab
then click preference, click on No proxies then
click apply,,
you can also try to click on No network detection...
since i use yahoo messenger v8 it takes me lot of
time to log in, so be patient...

See the proxy settings in the other laptop and copy it from Yahoo Messenger preferences.

dah....... do you not watch the news. governor bush baned yahoo through out the state of Texas. something to do with terrorism.
