Can I deduct prior purchases as a Small Business?
I'm considering starting up a small business, however one item (my computer) that I purchased already would be used solely for my new businesses. Can I deduct the cost of the computer? (I only purchased it a few months ago)

you can deduct it when you pay your taxes on ur business or when you file you income tax return at the end of the year. but I would wait until the tax season it gives you money back in the pot and we all love that don't we?

Sure you can, but check with your tax consultant before you accept any advice you get free in an online community if you value your future.
