It depends on where in Canada you are planning to deliver.

In Ontario if you do not have OHIP the cost of the hospital stay per day is around $250.

If you want an epidural you pay the anaethetist directly around $300-700

A C-section is around $2500 plus you need to pay the anaethetist again which is separate.

A regular delivery is around $900

You can call the hospital where you are delivering and then can go over cost with you, of course if you have OHIP the amount you need to pay is very little.

I live in Ontario and as far as I know, every province in Canada has a healthcare insurance system, and you don't pay anything. In Ontario it's called OHIP. Are you a Canadian?
