Canadians only: Cost of giving birth in Canada?
I do not have a health nor pregnancy insurance, how much will it cost me to deliver the baby, based on own experience or of friends, relatives etc. Please include C section, appreciate your help

It's all covered by the government. It won't cost you anything, even if you have a c-section. The only thing you would have to pay for is any medications you require after the birth if you get a prescription.

If you are a canadian citizen or landed immigrant you can get a health card and it will all be paid for.

You don't need insurance...In Canada everyone pays for MSP which is your medical..it pays for Dr's visits, hospital stays or a c-section...about all you'd have to pay for is any medications you may need
