Trying to identify tree?
I live in West Central Florida. A small tree came up in the yard. It has orange berries about 1/3 smaller than a marble. It's not citrus of any kind. The largest leaves are about 1 3/4 inches long and 3/4 wide and come to a dull point. Anybody have clue what it is. Friend or Foe .

To my opinion these are good sites to go and identify your tree

There are many other sites on the net that offer large lists of plant descriptions including pictures to help you with identification. However, for uncommon or difficult to identify plants there is no guaranty that you will find what you are looking for and you could be looking for a while. Also don't forget your local nursery. They, usually, can offer informative help.

Wow, can you post a photo? You'll get answers right away!
Sounds to me like a Pyracantha. Have you squished the berries? If they look kinda like pumpkin inside it's Pyracantha which is a lax bushy plant and not a tree.
I wish I could give you a definite answer. But with only descriptions, it's difficult.
