    Hi rustskipper...

What's my favorite place in Hawaiian Islands!?

You must be kidding!!! ;) All the Hawaii... including all the ocean that surrounds it! ;)

    ...

But what I like the most... is:

The Volcano Hiking Excursion, in Diamond Head!

Just to those who don't know, Diamond Head is a dormant volcanic crater that is very popular with tourists.

Hiking up this crater may take you about an hour (40 minutes to professionals) and will lead you along a changing and challenging terrain that ends in a long, steep set of stairs.

Once you get to the top, the view is magnificent.

    Just imagine it!

I hope that in your life time, you can visit the Diamond Head Crater... 'cause... it's worthy (however very hot) ;)

Have a great day... and GREAT QUESTION!

Kealakekua Bay, on the Big Island, accessible only by boat. Absolutely gorgeous, and fantastic snorkeling - it's like snorkeling in an aquarium! We've been with a couple of different tour operators, and the Fair Wind II is the best - nice people who love their jobs, very helpful for beginner snorkelers, good food, great value for the price. (You can also learn to "snuba," which is a combination of snorkeling and scuba but without any sort of certification, allowing you to go deeper; I've never tried it, but it looks like fun.) It's the only underwater state park on the Big Island, and is also home to the Captain Cook Monument. The fish at Kealakekua Bay are fantastic (and quite tame) - the water is very calm, so it's very clear, with 100-foot-plus visibility - and you'll see butterfly fish, tangs, eels, goatfish, Moorish Idols, angel fish, and of course the State Fish, the Humuhumunukunukuāpuaʻa (triggerfish), as well as spectacular coral, sea urchins, sea cucumbers, and perhaps even turtle or dolphins - I've even seen young humpback whales there (though that is extremely rare)! If you like to snorkel, this is the place - even if you've never tried it, you'll love it after this!

Well to be honest Ive only ever been to oahu and that was last month. I have been told its probably the most city like of all the islands. Notwithstanding I am still in love with the whole island. I cannot wait to explore the others.. I'm sure they would be much lovelier.. Ur such a lucky guy! I would love to live in Hawaii :)

Any bar with an ocean view at sunset with a lava flow (the tropical beverage, not actual lava)!

Especially the Hapuna Prince on the Big Island, the Beach House Restaurant in Poipu on Kauai and the ppol bar at the Manele Bay Hotel on Lanai.

Big Island, the south coastal area. Also like the upland area around Waimea, great views and everything can be seen from there.

    Oahu...

It gives you a little bit of everything...the city, small towns, beautiful views.

Kailua was wonderful on Oahu. Also Diamon Head...fantastic view. Really anywhere on the island is fantastic.
