Which state has the cheapest liquor prices from New York state down route 81 through to North Carolina.?
North Carolina's liquor prices are almost as expensive as prices in Canada. Which are crazy. (roughly double US. prices) Route 81 goes theough New York, Penn. W. Virginia, Maryland, Virginia and N.C. N.Y.S. and N.C. are expensive
Kentucky is way too far West, & Washington D.C. is out of the way. Route I 95 goes down the Eastern seabord. Route I 81 is situated further West. The better question is which state is cheapest of Va., Penn. W. Va., & Maryland. Also, my car has a Quebec, Canada licence plate so the state police probably will not bother me.

I would say West Virginia, if 81 goes through there... I dunno... but I'm assuming you're just going down the coast so I doubt it would. But like the first guy said, be careful cos there are definitely laws about bringing liquor across state borders. I live in a city that is on a state border and I've heard you have to pay special taxes or something like that when you buy a certain about of liquor and take it across the state line. Good luck!

i would guess nc, but I-81 doesn't get you there. i might not know what route your'e talking about... I'm thinking 77, 85, 95, 40.... and i could be wrong, however, nc has set prices on their liquor... meaning a bottle of absolut in asheville, is the same price in charlotte, or fayetteville, or elizabeth city.

Probilly some place off of I-95 but try the ABC Store in Raleigh or Durham.

washington dc because of the many lobbyists and congress. however, if you are from out of state you have to be very careful when crossing the state lines as the different state police are posted at the very popular liquor stores and when you cross the state line you can be arrested.

it extremely is finished in as few as 5: ny-PA-MD-VA-NC whether, once you're leaving from long island city, that's going to in all probability be ny-NJ-DE-MD-DC-VA-NC (sure, I-ninety 5 is going approximately 500 yards for the period of the District of Columbia in the direction of the Woodrow Wilson Bridge).

Slightly out of the way but New Hampshire has best prices- almost no mark up
