200 bone remains found on Ground Zero, and they don't stop the construction works?

How come that US government has the power to finance and justify a total war, but can not stop the construction works on Ground Zero now that new remains of victims have been found?

I thought the war was justified because of many US victims, but where is the respect for the victims now?

They need to stop the work and finish searching for remains. They haven't made a complete search otherwise they still wouldn't be find bones. This is a disgrace to the victims that lost their lives that day.

The entire investigation of 9-11 was flawed. Maybe now, more people will learn to question what the government and media say. We will never know the entire story.

The Iraqi War is not a justified war. It was based on lies the government fed us. Look at who is truly benefiting from this war. Look at who is making millions of dollars as long as we are there.

From everything I heard on the news wire, the remains were found in man holes and service boxes that were not searched before. They have ordered a new search of these areas and the surrounding buildings. And, they have ordered new DNA testing, since new technology is now available that will help identify some of the remains that could not be identify with technology available in 2002. The construction is on-going but not in the man hole and service box areas.

I don't think it is possible to find the remains of everyone who died that day. Most of the remains were reduced to dust.

I agree we need to respect the families of the victums of 9/11. I hope we are doing that. I visited the site this year and didn't feel as if the construction was disrespectful. Looking through the glass down into that great hole that was once the location of the twin towers moved me. But, what really hit home were the many pictures and messages that the children of the victims had posted on the wall.

It was a sad moment remembering for me. But, I respect New Yorker's desire to go on with the business of living.

they are just dead peoples bones. If you find a single bone, who does it belong to??

what is the other option? gather all the pieces of bone and bone dust together and bury them in a huge hole?

come on now. they are just unrecognizable pieces of bones. There is also pieces of the victims that have been smashed into dust on the surronding buildings. Lets clean that dust off and save it and bury it.

And there's pieces of the victims inside the lungs of everybody that was ingulfed by that huge cloud when the trade centers collasped. What do we do with those remains?

I am against the war and the Bush administration too. That is why we have to focus on the issues. We cant just say one thing and then turn around and blame it on Bush.

It was a terrible tradegy but you cant nit-pick at little things like ground up bones. Lets get the troops back. Lets get Bush out of office. Lets turn this country back into the prosperous country it once was.

a million) somebody steps in as a private citizen or group with an obscene quantity of money and buys up supplies this is being seen as an internet site for the mosque. money is skill. 2) attempt to make any supplies being seen for the positioning an historic landmark. This leads into enjoying the ol' separation of church and state card. One approach is immediately forward and expensive as hell. the different is bit extra opportunistic, even nevertheless that's a ploy that has been used by way of the left... call it poetic justice.

It is sad, but does it honestly surprise you that there were more remains found? There were many lives lost and many that they know they did not recover. If we waited till we found every single persons remains, we may never rebuild, Manhattan would forever live with a huge hole in the ground. How is that moving forward and showing others that we are a people that despite tragedy can move on and rebuild, not out of disrespect for those that died, but in honor of them.

First I am not US citizen. But I do have an opinion since some of our UK citizens died in that terrible disaster. I am surprised that building was allowed there at all I would have thought that the people of NY would have insisted that the whole site was turned into a memorial garden and museum celebrating the lives and heroism of those who died. Rather than setting up a memorial to business and wealth. .

Good question, I think ground zero is nothing but a big burial ground, and there will probably always be bones!! I dont think investigations were thorough and long enough as it was after the tradegy, because they have recently found bones on roof tops too! Our Gov't sucks!

What is your suggestion. They thought they found all the remains of people, and are trying to rebuild. When do you think they should start rebuilding? When the think they found all the remains? Ok, how many more do they need to find to find the last one?

Think about things, before you make stupid comments.

    Again,, WHAT DO YOU SUGGEST?

Instead of criticizing, how about suggestions.

Because after 5 years it is time to get the new building going. BTW, it is the city and state of NY that controls this not the feds so if you want to whine in the future get the facts. TYIA
