Removing bumper fascia 92 Maxima?
This is a real specific question for mechanics out there. I want to swap fascias between two 92 Nissan Maximas. On the salvage car I'm willing to completely take the car apart for spares, but on the car I plan to drive I want to be more careful.
Is there a way to remove the fascia without removing the headlight assemblies? There are two bolts underneath that are a bear to get to!

I'll give you hard but real answer. The truth is very simple. No one makes a car based on the wants of mechanics or home mechanics. Cars are made to make as much money as they can for their makers. Only money cares, the more they make and the less you have is all that matters to these people. Do you really think a car maker cares if two bolts are hard to get at. In life, the only one who cares, is the one that pays the bill, you. P.S. And your not the only one who dances to that tune.
Source(s): I'm my own source. I've worked many years turning a wrench. The only time I was asked by a maker about a problem with their product, was because they could not find the answer.
