Its not BA. Its MBBS. I'll assume u mean a newly graduated medical intern about to start house job?

if it were federal, its N91,000 but, accomodations, tax & others take up N6,000-10,000 so, its roughly N81-85,000.

State level is way below that so, u would be talking like N57,00-65,000.

But, if what u wanted was a resident, add like N30,000 to each & u'd be almost spot on!

    Doctors Salary In Nigeria

The government is the worst employer in Nigeria as they are infamous for withholding salary and wages for civil workers. University professors and policeman often don't collect salary for months on end. And the general paid level is far below the private sector except for the very top executives.

If you are at entrance level, expect 10-20% of what you might collect from US or Canada.

The salary/remuneration for a particular job is the market value for a particular profession and designation at the city/town where the office is located. Job postings at websites like Monster, Yahoo HotJobs and Careerbuilder carry information about salaries. The Govt Dept of Labor, (www.bls.gov) Bureau of statistics has information about median salaries for different professions and details of additional compensation offered. Other online resources are salary.com and payscale. Your salary will also depend on your educational qualification and how you handle your career.
