what do u think of the expected toll on dubai roads?

I personally don't care if I have to pay a toll or not. But I doubt, that this toll will solve the traffice problem in Dubai. This city is just growing to much to fast.

Some steps to solve the traffic prolem maybe woud be:

More and better public transportation they work on it:Metro),

flexible working hours (so everybody has to be in Dubai at the same time).

changing the law about carpooling,

cheaper accomodation (so people don't have to move and then come to work from Sharjah and Al Ain)

I think, the toll alone won't do anything.

I Completly Disaggree With Psycho S, In India We Need To Pay Tolls To Keep The Highwayz Neat An Clean, Here The Roads Are Already Nice, By Putting Toll Booths On Prime Roads Will Jus Lead To A Bigger Mess On The Other Roads.. Like The Al Khail Rd, Parellel To Shk, Zayed Rd.

It Will Just Create A Biig Mess.

Any Indians out here? If so compare ot with mumbai - pune highway, noida express way.

That would be the case out here , clean and smooth roads without horns, flashing speeding cars.

But the other roads would be like mumbai roads :P

Motivation to go back to your countries. I hate paying for every thing. Licese, Buying car, Parking and now even for driving..... Enough. Is that called Tax Free???? They are Freely collecting Taxes in all these ways.

Hey, I think it is a good idea , to keep the roads in good condition... Dubai is a beautiful city,, i would Love to live there ...
