Hot Flashes?

I'm 26 years old and have a very consistent menstrual cycle. I’ve only missed my period twice since I’ve started at 12 years old. But I have been experiencing Hot Flashes at night and during the day. There have been people who have started menopause early, but I do not have any other symptoms.

I've always been "hot stuff" and do not tolerate heat. It's winter now and I have still feel like I have hot flashes about once a day. Currently I am not on medications or have any other symptoms. I do have insomnia that I've been coping with. Do you have any suggestions on what else could be going on? Is this "minor" issue worth going to the doctor for?

I used to have night sweats during my 20s. It was from a hormonal imbalance.

You could be going through that or hormonal changes or it could be anything.

Please see a Gyn who can help you with this problem. You may also want to see an Endocrinologist, who specializes in hormonal disorders.

If you truely have hot flashes you should see the doc and get him to check this out. Perhaps your hormones are out of whack. You mentioned hot flashes at night but do you mean hot flashes or night sweats as night sweats are lot different than hot flashes. Go ahead and make an appointment to check with doc on this.

I had this also, it took me 6 years to figure it out. I had low progesterone and no-one detected it because progesterone and estrogen synthetically have to be used together.

I was introduced to this stuff (weird name but fabulous life changing stuff) try it. You won't regret it. Its all natural.

I was 30 when mine started and now I'm 36 and no hot flashes. There were other symptoms as well, you may not know you have until they start to go away.... :) I hope you try it.

Oh dear, the poor man, did he live through his confusion? When I'm in a good mood I call my hot flashes "my own personal trip to the tropics"; but most of the time they seem more like "power surges". I'm fortunate, my husband has become adept at reading the way I'm feeling...:)

See your doctor. You're not too young to have Hot Flashes but you need to know the cause....

Yes you need to go to the doctor and have your hormone levels checked. I saw a test in the store for menopause that worked Ike a pregnancy test but it was expensive.

They could be "night sweats" women get those way before menopause. During the day time??? Hum...yes you should go see your doctor. Age 26 is too soon for either hotflashes or night sweats

Insomnia (sleeplessness) is due to stress, dietary and medical

problems. By making small lifestyle changes like having a fixed

daily routine, relaxing and eating properly, insomnia can be

cured. I found the information at http://tinyurl.com/jfzpz useful

    for getting sleep.

I would suggest you see your doctor. It may be nothing, it may be hormonal fluctuations... Either way I wouldn't worry...

    Feel better, k? =)

you need to be ready to engage in intercourse with the onset on a hot flash, you wont believe how good this can be
