Tax Break for working outside the US?

In 2006 I worked in Malaysia for my company for about 8 months, but not consecutivly. Is there any tax break I am eligable for??

Update:

So I guess in my surcamstance the answer is no.....

    The foreign earned income exclusion is provided in Section 911 of the Internal Revenue Code. To be eligible, a US citizen or permanent resident must be present in the foreign country for the entire taxable year or for 330 days in a consecutive 12 month period.
