what is the best way to find a long lost friend on the internet without having to pay?
I've tried all the people people search pages, but they all come up empty, and lead me to pages where they want a fee. Anyone know a better way?

Have you tried yellowpages.com or even myspace.com and search their name, you can even search your school if you went to school with them. They have many other sites like friendster.com, I would try those.

try to match things when you search.
