Shooting pains down leg after Colonoscopy?

My wife is having serious pain in her leg and it's been 2 days since the procedure, should we be alarmed at all? I can't find jack squat on the net, and it is concerning me. Any sound advice on this matter would be much appreciated.

They may have pinched a nerve during the procedure. If it doesnt get any better, have her call her doctor to discuss.
