Yahoo Ages?

Do you think there should be totally seperate sections for those under age 18 and those over age 18 in Yahoo Answers.. or at the very least that the people should be required to divilge age and it should be listed to the questions answers?

I'd like to avoid problems.. and i'll certainly talk to an adult differently than i do a kid....

Update:

Yes i realise there will be those that lie about ages.. but at least that would relieve me of at least some of the legal responsibility as i'm being up front and they arent..

I agree with u , but unfortunately as pointed out, people would then just lie about their age. Sad we live in a world like that, huh? where people would find it necessary to lie at all, especially on something as trivial as Y!answers?

In a perfect world, where everyone was perfectly honest, and didn't lie about their age, this would be great. However, this is reality, and there is no way to verify age, so the kids would just lie to get into the adult section, and it would end up just like this anyway.

Since there is no way for Yahoo to confirm the ages of Answers account holders, there is no way you can have age appropriate Answers sites.

The young users of Answers are not on here to interact with their own age group. They are on here looking for guidance and wisdom from older and wiser users.

There has, also, been suggestions for a "Middle Aged" Answers. To be honest, I don't want to participate with users in my same age bracket, strictly. I like seeing the young users on here.

Are a lot of their questions imature and foolish? To us, yes. To them, no.

The young users are going through a stage of life that is extremely difficult. The Hormones are telling them to do things, and their brains are saying the opposite. In many cases, the responses they get from you and me will help them make the correct decision.

The young do want our guidance and will listen.

    Will you listen to them?

I ,myself don't discriminate against age on this site. I only answer questions but,be it a teenager or,an adult.I answer the same way to everyone with what little information I can provide. :))
