How do I get over someone after being with them for 4 years?

Lately my boyfriend and I have been fighting a lot. We've been together for 4 years. I love him a lot, I also know he loves me too. Its just that things aren't working out. I don't like his family or sister in law. We just don't get along anymore especially since I have to move out of my home by this summer since my parents are leaving due to retirement. I think its best to just end things, we don't have any kids or anything so theres no permanent ties. What should I do?

The best way is to end it and distance yourself for a while. Taking the time to make sure not to call or anything like that will help with the healing process for both sides. Let him have some time to get over it, and for yourself to know that this is truly what you want.

It is tough ending relationships, especially after four years. Sometimes love is not enough in a romantic relationship. It is good that there is not children and other things involved. Now is the time to end it. It is much better to be alone with the option of finding that perfect match than to be in a relationship that isn't going anywhere.

You sound like you already know what to do. Your heart isn't in this relationship anymore. You will get over this in time. Time heals everything just remember that. Ending things is always awful, but moving on and starting over is a fantastic feeling. best of luck to both of you.
