How to do reverse stereo in Windows XP?

I've just connected the front audio ports to my onboard sound on the motherboard and the sound coming out of that audio port is reversed (sound on the left is played on the right headphone speaker and vice versa). I can't just simply turn my headphones around since it's a headset and I'm too lazy to open my computer again to switch the leads. Is there a way to do reverse stereo in Windows XP, so sound on the left is back on the left side speaker again?

i'm afraid not...:( you'll have to open your computer up again..or bust the headphones open and reverse the wires in there..or just cut the headphones cable in half and reverse connections
