Oh yeah, big time. When you're dishonest you feel as though you know how people act when they're dishonest so you tend to believe everyone else is dishonest because you're not being honest.How can you trust anyone when you can't be trusted, you know?

Because this is their perspective they think everyone else also thinks this way.

yes, and in Psychology it's called "Projection," meaning that you project onto others what you feel or think about yourself.
