The Republicans seem to be saying that our soldiers are protecting us from terrorists in Iraq?

Maybe so, but I'd rather have our soldiers fight them here in the US where we can all fight them together.

You can't fight terrorists with military action. We tried for 50 years in Northern Ireland.

Are you serious?! You'd rather fight terrorists or any war on your own doorstep rather than over there? Why isn't your support of the troops helping them "fight" terrorism where they are? You couldn't possibly have children or many family members to want to put them through that and you must not have much knowledge of past wars. Take a look into what the English, especially, Londoners, had to go through during the Blitz when they were pretty much fighting the Nazis in their own backyard. I can't imagine you would want to go through that let alone put your family and friends through it. Typical liberal rhetoric, which has no basis in fact.

That is just another Bush excuse for his fail policy, he know that there was no terrorists in Iraq when he went in for Daddy and Oil.

Saddam had all his terrorist surrounded with solders, they shot and killed any terrorists that come over the border. Bush only wants to try to scare people that was not Saddam that knocked down the Twin Towers that was Ben Laden in Afghanistan, he couldn't stay and fight Ben Laden , he had to go into Iraq that had not bothered us at all. The Taliban are all back running the country that struck us where Ben Laden hides out. Bush is a complete moron and he will stop at nothing to stay in Iraq because his mind doesn't think it is blank.

    That's a bizarre notion.

You'd rather have the terrorists here, people whose only goal is to cause as much death and destruction as possible, on our own soil? Would you rather they took down the Chrysler Building in New York or the John Hancock Center in Chicago?

Would you prefer they flood the New York subway system with Sarin gas, or maybe just poison the water supply of Colorado.

What the hell were you thinking?

Have you ever been in a war zone? Have you ever actually been around gunfire and you don't know where it's coming from, if it's aimed at you, or if it's somebody trying to help people like you? Do you have any idea what it would be like to have war in this country again and how different it would be from generations ago when it last happened?

Our country isn't like that anymore. It isn't full of rolling plains for them to use as battlefields. It's full of little shops that people have their entire life's savings in. It's full of homes with small children playing outside. It's full of churches with people praying. It's full of communities and neighborhoods. You have no idea the carelessness behind what you are saying, nor do you realize how many would be killed.

Our soldiers are not protecting us from terrorist by fightitn in Iraq. The terrorist are already here. When they are ready and organized enough over here they will start attacking us. The Iraq war has absolutely nothing to do with that.

They are two completely seperate issues.

Our soldiers are doing a great job under very difficult circumstances, fighting a war that we should have never been conned into.

The people that we are fighting over there just plain resent us for the devastation in their country. We should declare Victory, as we have deposed Sadam and then bring all of our troops home

    immediately.

You must be joking. You like the idea of going off in the streets in our cities?????? You would rather have our civilians dying from ist attacks?????? You would rather have 9/11 attacks happening every week?????

Do me a favor. Keep talking about your plans and letting us know what liberals really think.

Everytime a US soldier kills an Iraqi, it CREATES terrorists, his relatives who want the invaders out of their country.

jr has done more to create terrorism than anyone else.

And don't foget, hiz daddy gave millions of US taxpayer $$'s to osama and helped build the al-queda training camps in Afganistan.

We need to LEAVE IRAQ NOW, and stop creating terrorists.

The fact is that most military leaders and intelligence analysts will tell you that our withdrawal from Iraq will NOT increase the risk of terrorism in America.

This is just another giant rightwing lie.

Bush, the GOP and the media are ignoring the advice of military leaders and intelligence analysts.
